SECT CrossFit operates very differently than what you are accustomed to at a typical fitness center. All training at SECT CrossFit takes place in a coached environment. The value and benefit of professional coaching cannot be overstated. It is a feature that is virtually absent in most of the fitness industry. If professional coaching is available, it is usually not an economically viable option for most people.
Our training incorporates movements from a wide range of disciplines and sports to help our "athletes" reach their highest potential. We draw from such areas as Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics, Plyometrics, Track & Field, Powerlifting, Rowing, and Climbing just to name a few. Our methods and style are not for everyone. However, everyone is welcome, and anyone can do it. There are people ranging from ages 8 to 80 doing CrossFit!
